TEV Protease

TEV Protease is a new type of protease product developed by our company. This product can specifically recognize the heptapeptide sequence GLU-ASN-LEU-tyr-Ph-GLN-Gly /Ser and perform enzymatic digestion between the amino acid residues of Gln and Gly/Ser. Glutathione Stransferase(GST), MBP (Maltose-Binding Protein), His or other tags are often used to remove fusion proteins. Its sequence specificity is much higher than that of proteases such as thrombin, factor Xa and enterokinase. TEV Protease has a certain tolerance to imidazole and still has high activity in 400mM imidazole. TEV Protease comes with its own His tag, which can be removed by binding to the nickel column after enzymatic digestion.

2.TEV Protease comes with its own His tag, which can be removed by binding to a nickel column after enzymatic digestion.

3. Compared with other types of proteases, it has stronger tolerance and still maintains high activity in 400mM imidazole.

It is used for the removal of fusion proteins with TEV sites such as GST, MBP, His or other tags
