Adeno-associated virus (AAV) is a widely used gene therapy vector at present and belongs to the parvovirus family. Recombinant adeno-associated virus (rAAV) is a gene vector modified from wild-type AAV. Replicating adeno-associated virus (rcAAV) is formed by non-homologous recombination during the production of rAAV vectors, resulting in AAV with replication ability, namely rcAAV. The National Medical Products Administration pointed out that quality control of rcAAV is necessary in gene therapy products.
This kit employs the PCR-fluorescence probe method and contains two systems for detecting rcAAV and rAAV. When paired with ready-to-use quantitative reference materials, it can simultaneously achieve rapid, sensitive and specific quantitative detection of rcAAV and rAAV.
This kit has undergone comprehensive methodological validation in accordance with relevant regulations, guidelines and other document requirements, and can provide performance validation reports.
