5×SDS-PAGE Protein Loading Buffer

5×SDS-PAGE Protein Loading Buffer is a 5-fold concentrated protein loading buffer. SDS can bind to proteins, making the protein-SDS complex carry a large amount of negative charge, completely masking the charge of the protein itself by SDS and eliminating the difference in charge among different proteins. Meanwhile, SDS can break the hydrogen bonds within and between molecules, thereby destroying the secondary and tertiary structures of protein molecules. The reducing agent in the sample loading buffer can break the disulfide bonds between cysteine residues and disrupt the spatial structure of proteins. Therefore, the differences between protein structures are eliminated, and the position of the protein electrophoresis bands is only related to their molecular weight size.
This product is a denatured reduced protein loading buffer. It adopts a new formula to ensure that the pH value is neutral after sample boiling, avoiding protein degradation. By adopting a new type of reducing agent, the strong reducing property is guaranteed while avoiding the odor of β -mercaptoethanol or DTT. It melts quickly after being taken out at -20℃, saving waiting time. When spotting, it settles rapidly and is not easy to float up.
