ECL Chemiluminescent Substrate Kit

The ECL Chemiluminescent Substrate Kit is a chemiluminescence detection kit product. This product contains all the reagents for detecting horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and is suitable for chemiluminescence in Western Blot, capable of rapidly detecting PG-level antigens.
This product can be used to detect antibodies directly or indirectly labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and their associated antigens. The principle is that after electrophoresis, proteins or nucleic acids are transferred to the blotting membrane. The target protein on the membrane is bound by the primary antibody and the HRP-labeled secondary antibody, or the nucleic acid on the membrane is directly or indirectly bound by the HRP-labeled probe. HRP catalyzes the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide into Luminol to produce an excited state intermediate. When this intermediate decays, it releases photons to emit light.
This product can be used to detect biological macromolecules such as proteins fixed on membranes. It can be detected by X-ray film exposure or chemiluminescence imaging.
