phi29 DNA Polymerase

This product is a replicative DNA polymerase derived from the phage phi29 of Bacillus subtilis, recombinant and expressed by an engineered Escherichia coli strain carrying the phi29 DNA polymerase gene. This enzyme features outstanding strand displacement activity and extremely high continuous synthesis capacity. It can achieve efficient DNA amplification under isothermal conditions without the need for a PCR instrument. Additionally, it comes with 3 '→5' exonuclease proofreading activity, offering excellent fidelity. It is widely applicable in scenarios such as genomic amplification, molecular cloning, and diagnostic development.

1. Strong chain displacement activity:
It can efficiently displace downstream DNA strands without the assistance of helicase, perfectly adapting to core technology processes such as rolling loop amplification (RCA) and multiple displacement amplification (MDA).

2. Ultra-long fragment synthesis capability:
A single binding can synthesize long DNA fragments of over 70 kb, which can meet the amplification requirements of large genomes, complex repetitive regions and long gene fragments.

3. High-fidelity replication
It is equipped with 3 '→5' exonucidase proofreading activity, which can correct mismatched bases in real time, significantly reducing the mutation rate of amplification products and ensuring the reliability of downstream sequencing and cloning results.

4. Isothermal amplification does not require a PCR instrument:
Efficient amplification can be achieved at a constant temperature without relying on a thermal cycling instrument, significantly lowering the equipment threshold and making it suitable for scenarios such as grassroots laboratories and on-site testing.
